AROUND VIEW MONITOR
(AVM) SYSTEM
The HD AVM system captures images
of objects through high-definition
cameras arranged around the vehicle,
and the collected 4-channel HD images
are organized by a controller module to
develop 2D and 3D virtual views of the
car as if filmed from any aerial point of
view, thus providing a high quality
visual experience with no blind angle
around the driving surroundings and
offering a solid support for safe driving.
LDW is integrated in the HD AVM
system. A front camera is used to
collect the road image in front of the
vehicle, and the relative position of the
vehicle against lane lines is determined
through processing with internal
algorithm.
If the system determines that the
vehicle is off the lane line and there is
no inhibitory signal given, the system
will send a warning to the driver. The
warning is a combination of image and
sound.
