Connecting an additional battery unit

You can connect up to three additional battery
units.
The charging time when connecting an additional battery unit is extended 24 hours per unit.
For information on backup time, see the backup time table in "5-2 Estimated backup time".

Caution
When the unit is used in compliance with UL standards or CE marking,Connecting an additional bat-
tery unit should be performed or supervised by personnel familiar with the danger of batteries and the
required precautions.
(1) Remove the protective cover at the right side viewed form the back of the additional battery unit.
(2) Remove the protective cap of the connection cable running from the back of the additional battery
unit.
