To access your Voice Mail Box from a Remote Location:
Lift the handset,
Dial the telephone number of a DISA CO line answered by the
VMIM/VSF/VMIB Auto Attendant,
At answer,
dial # to receive the 'Mail Box & Password' prompt(iPECS-LIK &
SBG),
Or
dial 523 (VMIB Access Code)(iPECS-MG),
Dial the Mail Box and password to receive the 'Number of
Messages' prompt,
Dial '*' (iPECS-MG),
Dial desired option codes,
At completion of session, hang-up.

Sending and Receiving Short Text Messages

You can exchange short text messages (up to 100
alphanumeric characters) with other iPECS display
phone users. These messages will activate the
message icon on the LCD (LIP-8024E). If the
ring/message LED is set to Message Wait indication,
the ring/message LED will flash.
