Description
Create a unique name for the trigger. The name can be up to 20 characters in
any combination of:
a-z, A-Z, 0-9

Note
You can also assign a trigger name without being connected to the
HTRD400 Recorder.
The HTRD400 Recorder transitions to Standby mode from Sleep mode when
the trigger is active.
Note
At least one trigger must have Wakeup checked.
The trigger is available to be used within a record rule.
Polarity (voltage) level. Options are:
Active Low. The trigger is active when on ground.
Active High. The trigger is active when 12 volts are applied.
Displays current state of trigger on the Trigger Summary. Use to verify the
trigger is working. This field is non-editable.

Click OK to accept your changes and return to the Trigger Summary. Note that the
settings have automatically populated in the description area.
Testing the Trigger Connection
To test the connection, activate the trigger and watch the status on the Trigger Summary.
Example
Step on the brake. If the connection is correct, the brake trigger status should change on
the screen.
