Uninstalling the Toolbox and Player Software

to verify that the Player application has successfully installed by
double-clicking the BusView icon on your desktop.
If you accepted the program defaults during installation, you can also start the
BusView Player application by clicking Start on the Windows taskbar and then
selecting Programs
There may be occasions when you need to uninstall the Toolbox and Player software (for
example, when you are upgrading to a new version).
Note
Uninstalling the software does not remove any archive files, search files, or
configuration files created with the applications.
Note
You must be logged in to the operating system with administrator privileges
to uninstall the Toolbox and Player software.
To uninstall the software:
1.
Log in to your Windows 2000, XP Professional, or XP Home Edition operating system
with administrator privileges.
2.
Close all running Windows applications.
3.
Remove the existing Toolbox and Player software:
a.
From the Start menu, select Settings
Programs.
b.
In the programs list, select BusView.
c.
Click Change/Remove.
d.
The Installation Wizard displays, followed by the main Uninstall dialog box.
e.
To uninstall the Toolbox and Player applications, click Next.
f.
Click OK to confirm the uninstall action.
g.
A progress bar indicates the status of the uninstall action. When you see the
message Maintenance Complete, click Finish to exit the uninstaller.
4.
Confirm that the BusView entry in the Add or Remove Programs dialog box has been
deleted, then exit this screen.
