Accessing the IP Phone 1140E

Entering your user login and password

You need to log in to your IP phone when you first install and system boot
your IP phone and anytime you log out or reboot your phone.
Note 1: If this is the first time to log in to the IP Phone 1140E, the
system prompts you for a location. (See "Selecting a location" on
page 52.)
Note 2: If this is not the first time to log in to IP Phone 1140E, the
previous user's login name appears after the ID prompt.
To Log in to the IP Phone 1140E

1. Press the abc/123
key to toggle between alphabetic or
numeric input.
2. Use the dialpad to enter your user ID
login at the prompt.
Note: Use the left navigation key to
backspace and remove a previous users
ID.
3. Press the Login
key.
A new screen appears and prompts you for
your password.
