Configuring Instant Messaging pop-ups

To configure the IM automatic pop-up feature, press the
sensitive soft key, select
Display: On/Off from the menu, and press the
soft key.
To enable or disable automatic pop-up of a new IM:

Configuring IM audible alert

You can configure the IP Phone 1140E to audibly alert you when a new
IM arrives. The IP Phone 1140E audibly alerts you when the phone is idle
or while on a call. You can also choose to disable audible alert of the IM
feature.
To configure IM audible alert, press the
