Using the Search feature

You can search for a contact that is in your IP Phone 1140E Address
Book (Local Search) or for a contact in a directory that is stored on the
call server (Global Search). You can save a contact's name and SIP
address found on the call server to your personal Address Book stored in
your IP Phone 1140E.

Using Local Search

To search for a contact stored in your Address Book, either press the
Services
fixed key or press the
Search, and select
To search for a contact in your Address Book:
Select
abc
Servcs
Local Search
from the menu.
1. Press the

soft key to choose a search criteria from
the following:
— 1. User Name
— 2. Name
— 3. Phone Number
2. Press the
key to toggle between alphabetic and
numeric characters.
3. Use the dialpad to enter the search
information for the contact.
