1. Login - Only used when call server supports multiple user logins.
2. Logout - Use to log out from the phone. (See "Logging out from the
IP Phone 1140E" on page 55.)
3. Check for Updates - Use to check for the latest firmware update for
the phone. (See "Checking for updates" on page 189.)
4. Switch Proxy - Use to switch Domains. (See "Switching the Proxy" on
page 189.)
5. Reset Phone - Use to perform a reset of the phone. (See "Resetting
the phone" on page 192.)
6. Erase User Data - Use to erase the stored data and settings of the
IP Phone 1140E. (See "Erasing user data" on page 192.)

Checking for updates

To check for the latest firmware update for your IP Phone 1140E, press
the
Services
fixed key or the
System, and select
To check for an update:
Yes
No

Switching the Proxy

When you switch proxy, you are changing the Domain to which the
IP Phone 1140E connects. To switch the proxy, press the
Servcs
Check For Updates
Press the
check for the latest firmware update for your
IP Phone 1140E.
Press the
return to the previous menu without checking
for an update.
Note: While the IP Phone 1140E checks
for an update the phone activates Do
Not Disturb (DND).
