Utility Mode Operations

To set the "Sleep Mode" parameter

If the printer controller is not installed, this parameter can be used to spec-
ify the length of time after the last operation until the copier automatically
turns off.
If the printer controller is installed, this parameter can be used to specify
the length of time after the last operation until the copier automatically en-
ters a standby mode (Energy Saver mode).
The default setting in either case is "30 min."
The Sleep mode can even be turned off. For more details, refer to "Turning
off the Sleep function ("Disable Sleep Mode" Function)" on page 9-15.

In the User's Choice screen, touch
[Sleep Mode].

Using the keypad, enter the desired
number of minutes, and then touch
[Enter].
? Do you wish to change the num-
ber of minutes entered?

Press the [C] (clear) key to
erase the entered number, and
then use the keypad to enter the
correct number of minutes.

In the User's Choice screen, touch [Exit].
