4.13 Top Cover
Removing the Top Cover
To remove the top cover, first remove the battery pack, display assembly, optical drive module,
HDD, memory cover, fan, heat sink, and CPU as described in the preceding sections, then follow
the steps below.
1. Remove three M2.5×6 black screws and two M2.5x3 black screws from the keyboard
tray securing the top cover.
2. Detach the upper FPC and lower FPC cables on the top chassis.
