How To REMOVE AND REPLACE SPRING - LOWER

Tools Required: Phillips screwdriver, 5/32" Allen head wrench, 1/8" Allen head wrench, and 3/8" Open end wrench
Step 1
Turn the power OFF. Disconnect the power cord from the outlet.
Step 2
Remove the HOUSING. (See "How To...")
Step 3
Raise the PEDAL LEVER on the side with the worn LOWER SPRING.
Step 4
With a 5/32" allen head wrench, hold the LOWER SPRING SCREW in place while turning the LOWER SPRING
NUT with a 3/8" open end wrench. Remove the LOWER SPRING NUT and WASHER. Remove the worn LOWER
SPRING from the FRAME.
Step 5
Insert the LOWER SPRING SCREW into the hole in the new LOWER SPRING. Place the LOWER SPRING
ASSEMBLY in place on the FRAME and secure with a 5/32" allen head wrench and 3/8" open-end wrench.
Step 6
Reverse steps 1 through 5 to return all parts to their proper position.
