Continue to Test Sequence ( Walking LED )
DIAGNOSTIC MODE
ACCESS AND EXECUTION
Testing Sequence (Walking LED)
4. The test sequence below will repeat for about 1.5 minutes. The unit will then exit the test mode and return to
normal operation. To start the test sequence, 'walking LED,' press the Start / Enter key.
a. The current software revision number is displayed on the VF display window.
b. The LED matrix column lights and illuminates from the left to the right starting with a yellow column of
lights.
c. The LED matrix row lights and illuminates from bottom to top.
d. Each 7- segment digit lights starting with segment 'a'. The last segment lit will be the decimal point.
NOTE: The 3
upper left hand corner of the digit.
e. All segment (a through g) and the decimal point in each 7-segment digit will light up, starting with the left
most digit of the 'FLOORS PER MINUTE – ACTUAL' display and scrolling to the right across this display
and through the 'CAL/HR' display. The same will then be repeated for the 'FLOORS PER MINUTE –
GOAL' and 'TIME' displays.

Every segment in the first VF display position will light. This 'all on ' character will scroll left to right,
through all twenty VF display positions.
g. The enunciator LED's will then each light in a scrolling sequence:
WATTS, TOTAL CAL, FAT BURN, HILL, RANDOM, MANUAL, and CARDIO HEART RATE.
To pause the 'walking LED' sequence any time, press the 'ENTER' key. Once the test sequence has been
stopped, pressing 'ENTER' key again will resume the test sequence from that point. Pressing the 'CLEAR' key will
restart the 'walking LED' sequence from the beginning (a).
Pressing numeric keys (1-6) during the 'walking LED' sequence will select one of the available test modes:
Key '1' – Alternator / step height monitor mode.
Key '2' – Machine options display / Update mode
Key '3' – Machine statistics / Reset.
Key '4' – Non-Volatile EEROM Memory Statistics / Reset.
Key '5' – Network Test Mode.
Key '6' – Lifepulse Monitor Mode.
Pressing the '0' key will exit the test mode and return unit to normal operation.
