ACCESS AND EXECUTION
Alternator / Step Height Monitor Mode
5. Pressing the number '1' key during the 'walking LED' test will initiate the Alternator / Step height monitor.
a. The alternator loading duty cycle (0 -100%) will be displayed in the upper right (TIME) display window.
b. Current alternator RPM value will be displayed in the lower right (CALORIE) display window.
c. The floors / min. step rate corresponding to the displayed RPM will be displayed in the lower left
(FLOORS PER MIN – ACTUAL) display window.
d. The unit will remain in this mode indefinitely as long as the alternator RPM is greater than 0.
e. The initial alternator duty cycle (load) is factory set to 10%. To increase or decrease the load settings, at the
numeric keypad enter a value from (0-99) and press the enter key to initiate. As the numeric value is
increased, the load (resistance) on the stairclimber will increase and the opposite will occur if numeric value is
decreased.
Note: Pressing the 'CLEAR ' key after a new load value has been entered, but before the ' ENTER ' key is
pressed, will abort the duty cycle load change request.
Pressing the 'CLEAR' key while the VF message center displays the default header: " STEP ALTERNATOR
TEST" will exit this test mode and return unit to the ' walking LED' mode.
