Basic software procedures
Ê Open the server blade as described in section
on page 58.
Ê Turn switch 3 of the user DIP switch bank to OFF, see section
settings" on page
Ê Close the server blade as described in section
page 59.
Ê Reinstall the server blade in the system unit as described in section
"Installing the server blade in the system unit" on page
Ê Switch on the server blade as described in section
blade" on page
Ê You can now put the server blade back into operation.

Updating or recovering the iRMC

TFTP update procedure
Ê Log in to the management blade web interface.
Ê Open the Information / Operation – Operation – Firmware Update menu.
Ê Open the Server Blade iRMC tab.
Ê In the Server Blade iRMC box enter the TFTP IPv4 or IPv6 address of the
TFTP server and the pathname of the TFTP firmware file.
Ê Select the desired server blade and click the > button to move it to the
update window.

the management blade web interface.
Ê Click the Apply button to start the update process.
The Update Progress History box provides information on the update
progress.

CAUTION!
Do not interrupt the iRMC upgrade process after it has started. If the
process is interrupted, the iRMC may be permanently corrupted.
