boot private-config-file
Use the boot private-config-file global configuration command to specify the filename that Cisco IOS
uses to read and write a nonvolatile copy of the private configuration. Use the no form of this command
to return to the default setting.
Syntax Description

The default configuration file is private-config.text.

Usage Guidelines
Only the Cisco IOS software can read and write a copy of the private configuration file. You cannot read,
write, delete, or display a copy of this file.
Filenames are case sensitive.
Examples
This example shows how to specify the name of the private configuration file to be pconfig:
Switch(config)# boot private-config-file pconfig
