arrow until battery tray cover : opens. Do
not hold the cover closed while doing so.
Remove the cover of the battery tray.

Repeatedly tap the SmartKey against your
X
palm until battery = falls out.
Insert the new battery with the positive
X
pole facing upwards. Use a lint-free cloth to
do so.
Make sure that the battery surface is free
X
of lint, grease, or other dirt.
Insert the front tabs of the battery tray's
X
cover first and then press to close it.
Replace the mechanical key in the
X
SmartKey.
Check the function of all SmartKey buttons
X
on the vehicle.
