To set the "INITIAL MODE" function

Select the "MACHINE SETTING"
menu.
❍ Refer to "To select the
"MACHINE SETTING" menu"
on page 9-3.

Press the [9] key from the KEYPAD
to select "INITIAL MODE".

Using the [ ] and [ ] keys, select
either "COPY" or "FAX", and then
press the [YES] key.
The "MACHINE SETTING" menu
appears again.
