The top green LED comes on when the cable is connected to the port on the Network Card for
Ethernet.
After booting, the bottom green LED should blink irregularly and the top green LED should come
on continuously.

Installing an IrDA/RS-232C interface kit

You can use an IrDA/RS-232C interface kit (KX-PNB6) to print remotely from an IrDA-Compatible
computer equipped with an infrared port.
You can use this option in Windows 95/Windows 98.
The infrared port is compliant with the specifications established by the Infrared Data Association
(IrDA).
The infrared port operates transmitting data at speeds up to 115,200 bits per second.
To install the IrDA/RS-232C interface kit, you will need to perform the following:
Remove the printer cover from the right of the printer. See
Install the IrDA/RS-232C interface card on the printer controller board. See
Replace the printer cover. See
Connect the IrDA/adapter cable to the infrared port.
Install the infrared port driver on your computer.
Set up the IrDA/RS-232C interface kit.
