Problem
The printed page appears dirty.
There are toner speckles.
The printer drops letters.
The printer drops letters in case of
printing from Dos mode in Windows 95.
"Check parallel Cable/Status Display
cannot monitor network printing" appears
in Status Display program.
Dirty spots on the back side of paper
caused by fuser assy contamination.
Solution
Clean the bottom face of the toner cartridge.
Do not open the shutter or touch the green drum
surface inside the cartridge.
Clean the internal black ribs of the printer.

Print a few more pages to see if the problem will
correct itself.

Check the paper type and quality.
Check the paper type and quality.
Check the printers environment.
Install a new toner cartridge.
Check the printer cable connections.
Close the Status Display program.

You cannot monitor the status of the printer which
is connected by network. Close the Status Display
program.
Printing may accumulate toners on the pressure
roller of fuser assy. The accumulated toner may be
melted and transferred onto the back side of paper.
Select "FUSER CLEAN" in the JOB MENU.
"FUSER CLEAN" selection rotates the fuser about
10 seconds and prints one duplex page of a
specified pattern for fuser cleaning then stops.
