The following situation occurs:

You copy an A4 original lengthwise.

However, only B5 paper is loaded crosswise (R) in the system.
The copy image is rotated by 90° and shrunk automatically.
If you use the "AMS" feature alone, the copy image is reduced in size so
much that it will fit onto the A4 paper crosswise without image loss.
