Transmitting Documents With
Brief Information (Send Header)
Send Header means that the machine automatically adds start of transmission, sender
name, recipient, G3 ID and number of pages on the documents transmitted.
This enables the receiver to confirm when and from whom the fax was sent.
Start time
The Send Header is printed at the top edge of the document, so that about three to five millimeter area at the top
edge of each page may be deleted at the remote machine.
G If the document is resent, "Resend" is printed at the left of date and time indication.
G If this feature is set to On in broadcasting, the Send Header is attached to all the receivers.
G Start of transmission is printed in the format set on the machine (12 or 24-hour clock).
G For details on Send Header, G3 ID, see "9.2 Entering Local Terminal Information" (P. 145).
G The field of the remote name is blank if the name is not programmed into an Address Number.
G The Send Header default value can be changed in the System Administration Mode. For details on how to change
this default value, see "9.8.6 Feature Defaults" (P. 188). The default factory setting is On.
