If you are using a smart card or certificate for IEEE 802.1x authentication, select Smart
card or other certificate and click Settings. Go to

4.4.2.1 Protected EAP Settings
If you selected Protected EAP (PEAP), the following screen appears.
1 Select Connect to these servers and type the IP address of the server you are using for
IEEE 802.1x authentication.
2 Select the Trusted Root Certification Authority to check the validity of the certificate
from your authentication server. This verifies that you are using the correct IEEE 802.1x
authentication server.
3 Select the IEEE 802.1x authentication method you are using.
If you are using a smart card or certificate for IEEE 802.1x authentication, select Smart
card or other certificate and click Configure. Go to
If you are using a login name and password for IEEE 802.1x authentication, select
Secured Password (EAP-MSCHAP v2) and click Configure.
