4.4 The Security Setting Screen

Click Next in the Add New Profile screen to display this screen.
Follow these steps to set wireless security settings on the G-210H.
1 If you select Infrastructure network type in the Add New Profile screen, select WEP,
WPA-PSK, WPA, WPA2-PSK, WPA2 or 802.1x from the drop-down list box to
enable data encryption.
If you select Ad-hoc network type in the Add New Profile screen, you can only use the
WPA2-PSK encryption method.
Otherwise, select DISABLE to allow the G-210H to communicate with the access
points or other peer wireless computers without any data encryption and skip to step 3.

2 The Security Setting screen varies depending on the encryption method you select. The
settings (for example, the security, encryption and Pre-Shared Key) must be exactly the
same on the APs or other peer wireless computers as they are on the G-210H. Refer to
Section 4.4.1 on page 35

This field is available only when you select Ad-hoc in the Network Type field.
Select a channel number.
Note: To associate to an ad-hoc network, you must use the same
channel as the peer device.
Click Next to go to the next screen.
Click Exit to go back to the previous screen without saving.
