Could your headphones or monitor speakers
be connected to the first STUDIO-CAPTURE
unit?
Could you have connected a coaxial cable
from the second unit's COAXIAL OUT (9/10)
jack to the first unit's COAXIAL IN (15/16)
jack?
In the second unit's "PATCH BAY, " is "MONITOR
A" selected for "OUTPUT 9-10"?
Is the second unit's MONITOR A "MASTER
VOLUME" raised?
In the first unit's "PATCH BAY, " is "MONITOR A"
selected for "OUTPUT 1-2"?
In the first unit's "DIRECT MONITOR A" is the
15-16 slider raised?
Is "PAN" set to 100%L for channel 15 and
100%R for channel 16?
Have you used a coaxial cable to connect the
second unit's COAXIAL OUT (9/10) to the first
unit's COAXIAL IN (15/16) jack?
Did you try adjusting the USB driver's "Audio
Buffer Size" jack?
Could a USB device other than the
STUDIO-CAPTURE, a mouse, and a keyboard
be connected?
Have you set the second unit's sampling
rate?
Are both units set to the same sample rate?
Action
Connect your headphones and monitor
speakers to the first STUDIO-CAPTURE unit .
Connect the coaxial cable correctly
Check the "Patch bay" of the second unit
(p . 49) .
Click the "MONITOR A" tab of the second
unit and check the setting (p . 49) .
Check the "Patch bay" of the first unit (p . 49) .
Check the procedure in "Settings for
monitoring through headphones" (p . 49) .
Dropouts and other problems will occur if
the two units are not digitally synchro-
nized . Check the connections as described
in "Connection Two STUDIO-CAPTURE
Unit"(p . 46) .
Try increasing the buffer size as described
in "USB Driver Settings" (p . 54) .
Disconnect all USB devices other than
the STUDIO-CAPTURE, a mouse, and a
keyboard from your computer .
Change the sampling rate using the
procedure described in"Sampling Rate
Setting" (p . 53) .
Open the STUDIO-CAPTURE Control Panel
and check the device panel (p . 36) .
