STUDIO-CAPTURE?
Are the software's input device and output

Is the STUDIO-CAPTURE's display off?
Is the computer's volume setting turned
down?

Did you adjust the USB driver's audio buffer

Is the "Reduce CPU load" check box selected?
Does your software support 24-bit audio

Is the software set correctly?
Is "INPUT SELECTOR (15/16)" set to [AUTO]?
Does the STUDIO-CAPTURE's sample rate
setting match the sample rate setting of the
digital device from which you're trying to
record?
Is the STUDIO-CAPTURE's system setting
"INPUT15/16" set correctly?
Action
Use the [SENS] knob to adjust the input
level of the STUDIO-CAPTURE (p . 20, p . 23) . If
your software has an input level adjust-
ment, check the input level setting .
The STUDIO-CAPTURE's microphone input
level is -60 dBu for the XLR connector, and
-54 dBu for the TRS phone type jack . If the
sensitivity of the microphone is low, the
sound will be soft .
Select the STUDIO-CAPTURE as the input
and output device (p . 25) .
Make sure that the STUDIO-CAPTURE is
connected to the computer correctly .
If that does not resolve the issue, reinstall
the USB driver (p . 11) .
Adjust the computer's volume setting (p . 68) .
Disable automatic volume adjustment
(p . 69) .
Increase the audio buffer size (p . 54) .
Clear the "Reduce CPU load" check box
(p . 55) .
Check whether your software supports
playback and recording of 24-bit audio
data .
Make sure that your software is set to play
and record 24-bit audio data .
If you want audio from a CD or
other source to be input digitally into your
computer, set "INPUT SELECTOR (15/16)" to
[AUTO] (p . 52) .
Set the STUDIO-CAPTURE to the same
sample rate as the device from which
you're recording (p . 53) .
In the SYSTEM screen, make sure that the
"INPUT15/16" setting is "AUTO . " Also make
sure that your digital device is correctly
connected to the COAXIAL IN (15/16) jack,
and that a digital signal is being input .
