IMPORTANT:
About the latest release of ft control software and purchase of the latest version of
its Update CD-ROM, ask your sales agent.
When the OS is reinstalled using NEC EXPRESSBUILDER and the "ft Update
CD", items other than ft control software (listed below) are installed from NEC
EXPRESSBUILDER. SYSTEM BIOS and BMC Firmware will not be updated.
- NEC ESMPRO Agent
- BMC FW Update Utility
If there are update modules of those above, SYSTEM BIOS, and BMC Firmware
exist, they need to be applied separately.
(Important)
The environment for installing some update modules applied separately may be
limited. Read each module's update procedure and apply it correctly.
An older version of ft control software may be required as applying environment. In
that case, you need to install the older version of ft control software and then update
it. The latest ft Update CD cannot be used for reinstalling the OS.
Before starting the setup, decide the size of the partition where the operating system will be installed.
