6-12 Troubleshooting
In the system where disks are duplicated by the RDR function, if you have removed
a PCI module in the step 2 of "Starting up the Recover Console" (page 6-7) in
"System Repair", remount the removed PCI module as described below after using
the Recovery Console:
1. After using the Recovery Console, start the OS with a single PCI module
mounted. After logging on, confirm that the system is recovered by the
Recovery Console.
2. Remount the removed PCI module while the OS is running. Then, the
disks are resynchronized automatically. Wait until the resynchronization
ends. For how to check disk mirroring, see "Step 7 Set Dual Disk
Configuration".
If the Recovery Console is used with two PCI modules mounted in the system where
disks are duplicated by the RDR function by mistake, and when OS stop error occurs
after using the Recovery Console, start the OS as described below:
1. Power off the system.
2. Remove the PCI module for Group 1.
3. Press the power switch of the PCI module for Group 2 to start the OS.
After logging on, confirm that the system is recovered by the Recovery
Console.
4. While the OS is running, remount the removed PCI module. Then, the disks
are resynchronized automatically. Wait until the resynchronization ends. For
how to check disk mirroring, see "Step 7 Set Dual Disk Configuration".
(Important)
If disks are not resynchronized automatically and the error below is registered to the
event log, perform the following steps:
Source: sradisk
Event ID: 544

2) Remove the PCI module for Group 2.
3) Mount the PCI module for Group 1.
4) Press the power switch of the PCI module for Group 1 to start the OS.
After logging on, confirm that the system is recovered by the Recovery
Console.
5) While the OS is running, remount the removed PCI module. Then the
disks are resynchronized automatically. Wait until the resynchronization
ends. For how to check disk mirror, see "Step 7 Set Dual Disk
Configuration".
