Function restrictions

The following are basic function restrictions that apply when using
Fax2Net Service.
If a user attempts to use One-Touch keys in Confidential Transmis-
sion, Relay Initiate Transmission, Polling Receive, Pre-Dial Chain
Dial or Real-Time Dial, ILLEGAL OPERATION will be displayed.
If there is no account number, only normal fax calls are possible.
If an account number is deleted after a group has been programmed,
any corresponding numbers/addresses registered under One-Touch
keys are deleted from the group location.
After the selected location has been displayed and START key
pressed, if no document has been loaded, LOAD DOCUMENT mes-
sage will be displayed.
Neither e-mail addresses or telephone numbers can be located using
the SEARCH function. However, a registered web page URL can be
searched by selecting Web Print from the menu.
PC Fax Mode: The Fax2Net function is disabled when sending faxes
using the PC FAX mode. The international telephone prefix is not
checked prior to dialling.
Location Search Function: The fax machine is not prompted to search
the e-mail address or web page URLs when a location search is con-
ducted using the SEARCH key.
The following restrictions ally when programming telephone numbers
from a computer.
E-mail address or web page URLs cannot be registered/changed to
One-Touch keys in the telephone number programming application
in the computer.
One-Touch keys assigned an e-mail address or web page URLs
appear as if they are not programmed in the computer when program-
ming telephone numbers.
