Note: If a web page URL has not been registered nor the proper
Fax2Net information programmed into the fax machine, this
feature is not functional.
For incomplete transmissions, check the following:
• If the Fax2Net server does not respond or is busy, the fax machine
enters the Redial mode.
• No alarm will occur even if the web page information has not been
sent by the Fax2Net server for some unknown reason.

Prepaid card registration

Prepaid card registration can be initiated using the Function operation
(8:Fax2Net Service). After selecting the function, enter the card number
when the display shows card number request. Each card number consists
of a maximum of 16 digits (entry of up to 20 digits is possible). The fax
machine contacts the Fax2Net server and informs the server of the
account ID and card number. The Fax2Net sever responds by transmitting
a registration results report back to the fax machine. The fax machine
receives the registration results report from the Fax2Net sever in the form
of a polling operation. The card number is not maintained in memory and
this communication is recorded in the Activity Report. An entry is not
made in the Message Confirmation Report.
Note 1: If information is sent incorrectly or the account has expired, the
connection is ended and the fax machine display shows an error
message and an audio alarm is given.
Note 2: If there is no reply from the Fax2Net server or an interruption
due to power outage, the fax machine will not redial.

PBX setting

Make sure to register the dial prefix number when the PBX setting is
"ON."

Polling transmission

Polling transmission is possible, however, the fax machine does not dial
the Fax2Net server for this operation (i.e., communications are conducted
using PSTN).
