Web page retrieval

Request Route: Fax machine (A) $ Fax2Net Server (P)
Reception Route: Web Server (W) $ Fax2Net Server (P) $ Fax machine
(A)
Connection between W and P is by the Internet. Connection between A
and P is through normal telephone services.
A contacts P and notifies it of the URL address to which access is required
and then disconnects. P accesses the web page and converts the informa-
tion to fax data. P then contacts A and sends the converted fax data.

Prepaid card registration

Request Route: Fax machine (A) $ Fax2Net Server (P) $ Fax machine
(A)
A contacts P and notifies it of prepaid card information using DTMF tone.
P then responds by sending a registration results report back to A.
Note: Depending on the method of payment for the charge, there are
cases when this function is not required.

Relay broadcast

Request Route: Fax machine (A) $ Fax2Net Server (P) $ Destinations
(B)
Groups can be registered in the Fax2Net server. By specifying the group
on the fax machine, the Fax2Net server transmits the images to the respec-
tive destinations that are in that group.
