Returning the Server to Operation

These topics describe how to return the server to operation after you have performed
service procedures.
Caution – Never attempt to run the server with the cover removed. Hazardous
voltage is present.
Caution – Equipment damage could occur if you run the server with the cover
removed. The cover must be in place for proper air flow.
Description
Install the top cover after servicing internal
components.
Re-attach the server to the cabinet slide rails
after performing a bench procedure.
Slide the server back into the equipment
rack.
Re-attach power cords and data cables to the
back panel of the server.
Power on the server after performing a
service procedure.
