24.1 Introduction to WAN Backup Setup

This chapter explains how to configure the Prestige for traffic redirect and dial backup connections.

24.2 Dial Backup

To set up the auxiliary port for use in the event that the regular WAN connection is dropped, first make sure
you have set up the port connection (and the CON/AUX switch to AUX on the Prestige) and then configure:
1. Menu 2 - WAN Backup Setup
2. Menu 2.2 – Dial Backup Setup
3. Menu 2.2.1 - Advanced Dial Backup Setup
4. Menu 11.1 - Remote Node Profile (Backup ISP)
Refer also to the traffic redirect section for information on an alternate backup WAN connection.

From the main menu, enter 2 to open menu 2.
