Equipped Lines programming when E1 PRI ISDN is programmed
When a T1/E1 PRI Module is installed and programmed as E1 PRI (ISDN) the system assumes that all 30 B
channels are available for calls. If less than 30 channels are provided by the Telephone Company, the number of
channels should be programmed. Similarly if one or two CO Line modules are installed those not connected to
CO lines must also be programmed as not equipped.
To change the Number of Channels options:
From the programming extension, press the PROGRAM key.
Press the Scroll Down key ( ) until "System Programming" is displayed.
Select "System Programming".
Enter the System Programming Password and select "Lines".
Press the Scroll Down key ( ) until "PRI Programming" is displayed.
Select the "Number of Channels" option.
Enter the number of channels supplied by your PRI service provider.
Select "Exit".
Group Programming – Extension groups
There are 20 groups available in the system in the system. Extensions can be placed in these groups
and called by dialling the group code.

You can allocate extensions to the group and to designate the type of group: a Ring group or Hunt group. When a
group is programmed, it can be associated with lines, Caller ID numbers and the Door Phone. If a group is
programmed and no lines, Caller ID numbers or Door Phone are associated with it, it is an Internal group. A total
of 20 groups can be programmed. The first group is programmed with extensions 20-27 at Power Up. A
maximum of 16 extensions can be programmed for a group.
All groups can be called from other extensions.
1. From the programming extension, press the PROGRAM key.
2. Press the Scroll Down key ( ) until "System Programming" is displayed.
3. Select "System Programming".
4. Enter the System Programming Password and select "Group Programming".
5. The 20 groups are shown. Select the group.
6. Two options are shown Ring Group and Hunt Group. Select "Ring Group". The menu showing the equipped
extensions is displayed. Select those extensions to be programmed in the group.
