1. From the Programming extension, press the PROGRAM key.
2. Press the Scroll Down key ( ) until "System Programming" is displayed.
3. Select "System Programming".
4. Enter the System Programming Password and select "Extensions".
5. Press the Scroll Down key ( ) until "Barge-In" is displayed.
6. Select "Barge-In Tone".
7. Select Barge-In tone on or off. The selection is indicated with a "♦".
In default tone is provided when barge in is activated. This is a single burst which lasts for about a half a second.
Paired Extensions
An extension can be paired with another extension. The full functionality of the master extension including
extension number and all programmed features, including voicemail, can be transferred to the alternate extension,
providing the user with all their normal telephony facilities at two different locations.
1. From the Programming extension, press the PROGRAM key.
2. Press the Scroll Down key ( ) until "System Programming" is displayed.
3. Select "System Programming".
4. Enter the System Programming Password and select "Extensions".
5. Press the Scroll Down key ( ) until "Paired Extensions" is displayed.
6. Select the master extension
7. Select the Alternate extension .The selection is indicated with a "♦".
In default no extensions are paired.
