The Mitel 3000 has remote access and maintenance capability. The Mitel 3000’s modular design allows it to grow as you grow. No matter what size system you start with, you can expand up to the maximum capacity. The base system includes either two or four lines and allows up to eight extensions to be connected.

Mitel 3000 Australia Administrator’s Manual Contact Details A ‘Sales and Service’ number can be programmed into the system under ‘System’ programming. When entered, this number can be dialled using the Directory key on the Feature Phone.
To control which numbers system users may dial, refer to ‘Class of Service’ on page 60. Your Mitel 3000 may be equipped with a Voice Module, in which case a number of powerful Voice Services are available. These services include Courtesy Service, Voicemail boxes, Answering Machine and an Auto-attendant Service.
INTRODUCING THE FEATURE PHONES There are two Feature phones, the Executive Feature phone and Standard Feature phone. Both of the Feature phones are highly featured display telephones for use with your Mitel 3000 system. Both feature a 4-line display that contains prompts and menus with selectable options. This unique menu-driven interface makes the system simple to use, and no codes are needed to program and activate features.

Your Mitel 3000 can be equipped with an optional Battery Backup Unit (BBU). When equipped, full operation of the Mitel 3000 is provided for at least one hour in the event of a power failure. You can program any of the eleven Outgoing Groups to work with a parent PABX. When programming the Outgoing Groups as PABX groups, PABX access digits and the number of digits in a PABX extension number are entered.
