4 Slide the cover into place over the terminal block

5 Connect the cables to the DC source voltage, using hardware appropriate to the installation site and
following local and national electrical codes.
6 Energize the DC circuit.

Connecting Network Interface Cables

Use the appropriate type of cable to connect the ports of your switch to another switch or router. For
connections to the 10GBASE-T ports on the Summit X650-24t switch, see
distances.
