Selecting
the
source
of the PIP
image
_Important:
When you first activate
the PIP image, as described
on tile previous
page, you will probably
see the same picture
in the small image as
yoa do on the main image. This is because
both images
have the
same "source."
A "source" is any signal that your TV is receiving
through
the antenna
terminals
or through
the input
terminals.
If you want
to see a different
picture
in the PIP image, you need to
change
its source. Since your main image is usually
a signal being
received
through
an antenna
terminal,
you need to selecl_ one of the
input
terminals
as the PIP's source.
These instructions
explain
the most comraon way to see a different
picture
in the PIP image: using
a VCR connected
to Input-1
as a
PIP source.
0 Turn your VCR on and select a
channel
on the VCR that is
different
than the channel
you
see on your TV screen.
Press the SOURCE
button
on
the remote control
repeatedly
until the VCR picture
appears
in the PIP image
If you want to select a source
other than the VCR, continue
pressing
the SOURCE
button.
The source will change
as
follows::
LTV---,Input-l-,Input-2-*lnput-3
-j
To change
the main image while in PIP mode, press the input
button
(INPUT)
on the control panel or on the remote
control.
