setting up the remote control to operate your cable box
O Turn on your cable box.
O Press one of the select buttons across the top of the remote to
choose the layer you want to set up: VCR-A, VCR-B, or CABLE.

While holding in the POWER button on the remote control,
enter the code number listed in the chart on the nexl: page for
your brand of cable box. Be sure to enter both digits of the code
number. If more than one number listed, try the firs_ one.
Release the POWER button.
Press the POWER button again. Your cable box should turn off.
If the cable box turns off: your remote control is now set to
operate your cable box. If your cable box does not tul_n off,
repeat the instructions above, trying each code number listed
for your brand of cable box. If none of these number,_ work, try
each number, 51 through 99.
