Setting
the
timer
_Important:
This special feature
allows you to program
the TV to turn on
automatically
at a time that you set. To set the timer:

Press MENU
to exit menus.

to return to
TV Main Menu.

to select.
Then press
ENTER.
Press MENU
to return to
Advanced
Features
Menu.
O Press the MENU button
on the
remote
control
The TV Main
Menu will appear
on the screen.
O Use the ADJUST
buttons
to
select "Advanced
:Features."
Press ENTER.
You will see the "Advanced
FeaLures"
screen. Use the
2d:)JUST buttons
to select
"Set the timer'." Press ENTER.
O Use the ADJUST
buttons
and
the ENTER
button
to set Day,
Start time, Antenna,
and
Channel.
After setting
the timer, make
sure
that the program
timer indicator
is; lit. The indicator
will light in
o:ra:nge when the TV is turned
on
and light in red when the TV is
turned[ off. The i:adieator will light
in _.Teen when using the menus,
or
when you have locked the TV.
If you press the CANCEL button
while setting
the timer, the arrow
will move to the previous
item. To
clear the timer, ]?ress CANCEL
wit:h the arrow next to "Day."
When the timer turns
the TV on, the display will flash. If you do
not press any TV function
buttons
for about 5 milxutes,
the TV will
automatically
turn
off. Press a TV function
butto:a (such as the
display
button)
to keep the TV on and turn off the flashing
display.
