Adjusting
the
picture
(cont.)
The "Color
bias"
function
is used to help your TV reproduce
colors,
especially
skin tones, as realistically
as possible. You can set this
function
to "Average,"
"Accurate,"
or "Skin tone."
• The "Average"
setting
will adjust
the skin tones based
on the
other colors on the screen.
• The "Accurate"
setting
does not make adjustments
to the
picture.
Use this setting when watching
professionally
produced
video tapes and laserdiscs
(such as rental
movies).
• The "Skin-tone"
setting
will add warmth
and red tones to the
picture.
The "_"
function
is used to control the closed captien
decoder. For
details,
see "Using the closed caption
decoder,"
page 69.

When adjusting
the video
functions,
you can use the buttons
on the remote
control
or on the
control panel.
O
]?ress the VIDEG button
repeatedly
until
the function
you want to adjust
appears
on-screen.
(The functions
appear
at the
center of the bottom
of the
screen.)
While the function
is still on the
screen, use the ADJUST
buttons
to adjust
the function's
setting.
The functions
will disappear
from the screen
after a few
seconds.
(You cannot
adjust
a
function
if it is not on the
screen.)
