By setting a photo effect before you shoot, you can change the look
and feel of the pictures you take.
[] Effect Off Records normallywith this setting.
[] IVivid Emphasizesthe contrast and color saturation to record bold colors.
[] I Neutral Tonesdown the contrast and color saturationto record neutral hues.
[] I Low Sharpening Records subjectswith softenedoutlines.
[] I Sepia Records in sepia tones.
[] B/VV Records in black and white.
[] CustomEffect* Youcan freely setthe contrast, sharpnessand color saturation.

Select []* (Effect Off) from the FUNC.
menu and select the desired photo
effect with the < or I_ button,
* The current setting is displayed.
You can shoot the image right after selecting
settings by pressing the shutter button. The
menu displays again after the shot, allowing
you to change the settings easily.
When [] is selected
• A screen allowing you to set the contzast,
sharpness and color saturation appears when
you press the SET button. Select the item you
wish to set using the • or • button, set it using
the _ or • button and press the SET button.
• You can shoot the image right after selecting settings by pressing the
