Use the < or I_ button
to select

MENu button.

When [Spot AE Point] is set to [Center], the
spot AE point frame ( [_] ) appears at the center
of the LCD monitor (or viewfinder).
The AF
frame can be repositioned

With [Spot AE Point], one AE point appears

Adjust
the exposure
compensation
setting
to avoid
making
the
subject
too dark when
it is backlit
or shot against
a bright
background
or to avoid
making
lights
appear
too bright
in night shots.

Select

the
FUNC.
menu,
and
adjust
exposure
with
the <
or I_ button.
* The current setting is displayed.
• The settings can be adjusted in 1/3-stops in
the range of -2EV to +2EV.
• You can shoot the image right after selecting
settings by pressing the shutter button. The menu displays again after the
shot, allowing you to change the settings easily.
• To cancel the exposure
compensation,
return the setting to _ with the 4
