• Turning the zoom lever toward L-_

Turning the zoom lever toward []
decreases the size of the subject (wide
angle). The speed at which the magnification change is determined by
the way the zoom lever is turned. Tuming the zoom lever in one swift
movement completely to the righbleft enables fast zooming. For slow
zooming, slowly turn t_e zoom lever halfway.
• The zoom can be adjusted from 36ram to 432mm in 35mm film
equivalent terms.
• The combined use of the digital zoom and optical zoom enables magnified
shooting up to approx, 48x, (p, 61)

Images become coarser the more they are digitally zoomed.
