In Playback
mode
(including
single
image
playback,
index
playback,
magnified
playback
and the review
immediately
after shooting
in
Shooting
mode)
you can attach
sound
memos
(up to 60 seconds)
to
an image.
The sound
data
is saved
in the WAVE
format.

the
_1 button
while
playing
back
images.
The sound memo control panel will display,

Use the
< or I_ button
to select
[_]
(Record)
and
press
the
SET
button,
• The recording starts and the elapsed time is
displayed,
Speak towards the microphone
of
the camera.

the Sound Mode (p. 68)
• To stop playback,
press the SET button. To
restart recording,
press the SET button again,
• You can add as many sound memos as you like until their total time
reaches 60 seconds.
Playing back the Sound Memos

(they do not display in No Information display mode).

Erasing the Sound Memos
