To shoot afast-moving
subject,
aim the camera
while itisstill some
distance
away, and press the shutter button while m oving
the camera
to
track the subject and compose
the picture.
• Track the subject
by moving
your upper body with t he c amera,
standing
with
legs apart and t urning
at t he h ips while keeping
your
arms in close to your body.
• Move the camera to track the subject's motion
while pressing the shutter button.
• The following
methods are also recommended.
• Using a tripod with the camera,
mount the
camera so that it moves in one direction.
• Lock the focus beforehand
to a point in the
subject's path where you intend to shoot.

• To achieve a flowing background
effect, shoot with a slow shutter speed.
• Use the continuous shooting mode to provide a choice of the best quality image.
Macro
mode can make unique images
when used with the zoom function.
For example,
shooting
a flower
at maximum
wide angle
in Macro mode
allows
the camera
to bring both the flower and the background
into focus.
However,
shooting
at maximum
telephoto
can throw the background
out
of focus to make the flower stand out.
