Use the
< or I_ button
to select
[On]
and
press
the
MENU
button.
• The display will return to t_e shooting
or playback screen.
• When this function is [On] and the camera is in shooting mode and set to

When the camera is held on end to shoot, the Intelligent Orientation
L_
sensor judges the upper end to be "up" and the lower end to be "down", it
then regulates
the optimal white balance and exposure
for vertical
photography.
This function operates
regardless of the On!Off status of
the Auto Rotate function.
The images you shoot are automatically
assigned file numbers. You
can select how the file number is assigned.
The file numbers are reset to the start (t00-00t) each time a new memorycard is
On
inserted.New images recordedon memory cardswith existing files are assignedthe
next availablenumber.
The file number of the last imageto be shot is memorizedso that images recordedto
Off
a new memory card startfromthe next number.
