To remove the component:
CAUTION:
all bays are populated with either a component or a blank.
power off the server
1. Extend or remove the server from the rack. See
2. Remove the access panel. See
3. Remove the fans 2 and 3. See
4. Disconnect the drive cable.
5. Lift the DVD release tab and push out the drive. Then pull the drive straight out to remove it
from the server.
To replace the component, reverse the procedure.
