About This Document This document introduces the Windows Server® 2008 and Windows Server® 2008 R2 on HP Integrity servers products and describes the structure of the documentation. In addition, it provides recommended reading paths through the documentation. Intended Audience This document is intended for IT professionals who install, configure, and manage HP Integrity servers that run the Microsoft Windows Server 2008 and Windows Server 2008 R2 operating systems. -

1 Introduction The HP Windows Solution Release 7.0 is a tested set of HP manageability software, I/O card drivers and firmware, the Windows Server operating system, and Microsoft QFEs. This set has been tested with each HP Integrity platform supported in this release. Release 7.0 supports both Windows Server 2008 SP2 and Windows Server 2008 R2 on the HP Integrity BL860c, BL870c, rx2660, rx3600, rx6600, rx7640, rx8640, and Superdome (sx2000). -
