Excluding vs. Deleting a Profile Shortcut

By default, the Citrix Assistant creates shortcuts to all of the executable (
Profile Files page, and lists them in a checklist on the Profile Shortcuts page.

To prevent the shortcut from being created in the Citrix profile, you can choose to either delete or exclude it.

If you have any unnecessary shortcuts in your project, you can simply exclude them from the Profile by unchecking
them in the shortcuts list. If you like to permanently remove a shortcut, you can delete it from the shortcut list.
Excluding a Profile Shortcut
If you want to exclude one of these shortcuts from being created in the Citrix profile, perform the following steps:
Task: To exclude a shortcut:
1. Open the Profile Shortcuts page. All of the executable (
page are listed.

• Those that are currently excluded are not selected.
2. To exclude a shortcut, select the shortcut and clear the check box.
